π€· Damned if you do...
December 2023:
"The magnitude of changes AI can bring isnβt exactly reflected in the directives for the AI Commission," writes CS Editor-in-Chief Marcus JerrΓ€ng in a column.
A year later:
"The AI Commission's report would have benefited from a more balanced and down-to-earth approach," writes CS Editor-in-Chief Marcus JerrΓ€ng in a column.

Spring talks
2024 was the first year I actively focused on giving more talks. This was because I wanted more people to discover the opportunities with AI, to spread a fact-based, optimistic message, and to attract more subscribers and revenue to Warp News.
It has gone better than expected. 35 talks and courses during the year. Not just Sweden, I also went to Canada, the U.S., Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Norway. This despite limiting myself to two or three talks per month during the fall (to make time to write my next book).
At the risk of sounding like a musician, Iβm now releasing my spring tour dates. πΊ
I already have a bunch of bookings, but there are still available slots this spring. Read more at mathiassundin.org and feel free to reach out.
I talk about AI, painting the picture with broad strokes while also offering practical tips. The focus is on the opportunities and inspiring people to start testing for themselves.

A surgical robot trained by watching videos of experienced surgeons performed the same surgical procedures with the same precision as human doctors.
π Weight loss drugs could transform society and save billions
