❓ Where is all the AI disinformation?

AI-generated disinformation was supposed to lead to a "tech-driven Armageddon" during this super-election year. Now, hundreds of millions have voted, and I wonder: where is it?

Taiwan had elections already in January and is perhaps the country in the world most exposed to information warfare. What happened there? They managed the situation really well and reached record-low polarization after the election. One of their tactics was to use prebunking. Mental antibodies to resist disinformation.

Pessimists often extrapolate problems until they are huge threats. But forget that we are also really good at solving problems, like in the case of Taiwan.
