πŸŽ—οΈ Cervical cancer RIP

Last week, we wrote about a significant decrease in deaths from cervical cancer. This week, the WHO chief stated that this particular form of cancer could be the first to be completely eradicated.

With today’s toolsβ€”vaccines, diagnostics, and treatmentsβ€”virtually all cases can be prevented, a goal several high-income countries have achieved. This makes it possible to replicate the success in lower-income countries if the same standards are reached.

Waymo will begin testing driverless Jaguar vehicles in Miami during 2025, with planned launch of the taxi service in 2026. The company already operates over 150,000 trips per week in Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Austin.
