πŸ‘©β€πŸ« The journey towards the Centaur School continues

Last fall, Warp Institute (the foundation behind Warp News) started Project Centaur School. It's about building AI tools for schools.

To avoid the classic mistake of sitting at the office and developing something one thinks the schools needs, but when the users get to try it out, it doesn't hold up at all. We instead are in the schools talking to teachers, students, and other school staff before we build.

For me, who once thought of becoming a teacher, it's a bit of a tumultuous experience, but very, very, fun!

Back in school!

I can at least now confirm that the need for AI tools in schools is great. Our decision is mostly about choosing to develop the right tools.

I document the road towards the Centaur School, so far in two parts, so that you can follow along and maybe get inspired to build something yourself. Or if you work in education, I'd be happy to visit, give a talk, or talk AI over a cup of strong teacher's coffee. Get in touch!
