🚀 Jim O'Shaughnessy launches new venture for creators

Jim O'Shaughnessy is a Wall Street legend. He has written some of the most influential books on investing, like Invest Like the Best and What Works on Wall Street, and he even holds several patents on investment strategies.

Forbes named him a legendary investor, along with Warren Buffet, Peter Lynch, Benjamin Graham, and a few others.

Jim O’Shaughnessy is a legendary investor on Wall Street. He shares what he thinks is the biggest opportunity for the future and explains how the world is going through a great reshuffle.

In the interview, he talks about The Great Reshuffle.

“We have reached a place with the confluence of things happening in technology, but also in a very, very large number of different disciplines. At the center of the great reshuffle sits the internet. And it's coming of age, so to speak, in that it is the largest variance amplification system in human history. The tools that it gives to normal human beings are quite breathtaking in their scope, and their numbers.”

Calling all creators

OSV is not a traditional investment company and they operate in four verticals.

• The O'Shaughnessy Fellowship is a one-year program that provides ambitious individuals with $100,000 in funding to work on a project of their choice. This could include, but is not limited to, creating pieces of art, music, software, scientific research, journalism, documentaries, sculptures, and more. • Infinite Adventures: Inspired by the original name for venture capital, this vertical hunts down and funds early-stage opportunities and teams. They are looking for original thinkers who conventionally minded VC firms may overlook.
• Infinite Films is a film production company that focuses on creating original, uplifting films rather than relying on remakes or sequels. The team at Infinite Films believes in giving all members of the production team a stake in the films they create. Their first film is a documentary about Dr. David Rhoiney.
• Infinite Media is dedicated to curating high-quality content. The team has already established a successful podcast called Infinite Loops and a Substack newsletter, and they are now working on building a new media ecosystem featuring carefully curated content.
