Musk didn't arrive yesterday, Friday. Instead a new flight plan has been handed in for his private jet, with it arriving just before 6 pm Swedish time.

Several Tesla fans went to the airport yesterday, and many of them look to return tonight.

Elon Musk will land at Skavsta Airport tonight a little after 7 pm, according to the submitted flight plan, a source has told Warp News.

Tesla fans will arrange a meeting tonight at the airport at Flygspanarkullen.

What will Elon Musk do in Sweden?

Battery maker Northvolt with former Tesla executive Peter Carlsson has an office close to Skavsta in Västerås.

The US ambassador to Sweden, Ken Howery, are friends with Musk since the PayPal era.

Elon Musk is spending the day in Berlin, where he interviews people who want to work as engineers at Tesla.

Peter Carlsson and Northvolt

Peter Carlsson is the founder and CEO of Northvolt, building a battery factory in northern Sweden, and will break ground on a factory in Germany next year.

Carlsson was previously a Tesla executive, turning down a top job at Apple to instead work for the small EV startup.
